The Essential 2021 DoctorWine to be presented in Rome

Following its preview in Milan, the 7th edition of the Essential Guide to Italian Wines by Daniele Cernilli will be presented in Rome on Saturday, October 10, at the Officine Farneto.

Rome will soon see the presentation of the Essential Guide to Italian Wine by Doctor Wine-Daniele Cernilli, on Saturday, October 10, at the Officine Farneto, together with the first edition of the spin-off Eating and Sleeping Amid the Vineyards by DoctorWine. After skipping two years, Daniele Cernilli’s guide returns to the Italian capital, even in this difficult year, to underscore the desire of the entire Italian wine sector to get going again.

With current health guidelines in mind, a solution has been found that should satisfy wine lovers that is in full respect of regulations. Tasting will take place out in the open, thus a kind of open tasting, and each producer will have their table and the public will be able to wander about freely, while at the same time respecting social distancing.

The tasting will involve over 100 wines from some of Italy’s best producers (listed below) and there will be street food stands offering something to nibble on between tastings.

All participants will receive a free copy of the Essential Guide of Italian Wines 2021 plus a glass with a DoctorWine logo.

In line with anti-Covid-19 regulations, NO tickets will be sold at the door.
