The Amarone Preview 2022 postponed to June

The Amarone Preview, initially scheduled in Verona on February 4th and 5th, has been postponed to June.
A necessary rescheduling, and unanimously decided by the Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella wines, in order to guarantee an adequate development of the event with the usual presence of experts and stakeholders of international level. The new dates of the event in Verona will be communicated soon, whereas the program originally planned - and impossible to respect in February - is confirmed, to which will be added special events dedicated to the king of Valpolicella. "We want to return to presence and we want to do it in the best way - said the president of the Consortium, Christian Marchesini -, we owe it to our producers and to a denomination that in 2021 has recorded an important season on the sales front. For this reason, in February, together with Nomisma Wine-Monitor, we will present a market focus on the performance of Amarone, Ripasso and Valpolicella in Italy and worldwide".
