Goodbye Michele Moio

Michele Moio, historical figure of the viticulture of Campania, has left us.
Few men have managed to support the idea of producing wine linked to history like Michele Moio. A man all of a piece, a faithful producer of Falerno del Massico, as well as the soul of the historical denomination, which thanks to him saw the rebirth after years of oblivion. Friend of the territory and passionate winemaker, as well as standard-bearer of the viticulture of Campania and in particular of Ager Falernus. In Mondragone, on the coast of Caserta, he spent the years of his life in the family cellars, dedicating himself to wine, with seriousness and transferring the same passion to his sons Luigi, Bruno and Rosa, as well as to his grandchildren who followed in their grandfather's footsteps.
Wine lovers will continue to remember him through his successful labels, which have made Falerno del Massico, one of the oldest wines in the world, "topical". Our condolences go out to the whole family.
