The temporary association of companies "Unione dei Brand della Ristorazione Italiana" was set up in Milan to keep the premises open and guarantee stringent health procedures against the Corona virus.

The Milanese catering industry is united to support the city: a representative group of over 50 Milanese catering entrepreneurs met yesterday and associated, under the name "Unione dei Brand della Ristorazione Italiana", to give a signal of presence and support to the city and its institutions. The association of companies, of a temporary nature, represents to date about 1000 catering activities for a total of about 10,000 workers in the area.
 
"We express our common sense by deciding to keep our premises open, adhering to the invitation of our Mayor Beppe Sala who reminds Milan of common sense and invites us to avoid attitudes that could generate excessive alarm, including the image of a city "turned off" in every sense, without there being any real need for it. Together with our colleagues we have decided to donate financial support to the voluntary forces in the field, represented by recognized associations, which we are defining in these hours because Milan is a living city ... and a living city is a city that reacts," say the entrepreneurs.
 
"We are regularly open, waiting for you. The institutions are with us, we must not let fear hold us back," says Salvatore Maresca, entrepreneur and owner of the two Muu Muzzarella restaurants in Milan, in via Raffaello Sanzio 24 and viale Premuda 46. "We have activated even stricter sanitary products for employees and cleaning, we are careful to disinfect every table, before and after consumption.
