Chiara Lungarotti receives the Women Award for Made in Italy

Chiara Lungarotti is the only wine woman to have distinguished herself for her innovation and contribution to Italian economic growth.
Chiara Lungarotti won the Women's Award for Made in Italy, awarded today in Rome at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
The Lungarotti Group's recognition of the ad was given during a conference organised by Io sto con il Made in Italy, an initiative launched by mass-mediologist Klaus Davi and supported by Italian institutions and SMEs. Chiara Lungarotti, is the only 'woman of wine' among the 7 winners who have distinguished themselves - quote the reasons - "for the ability to innovate and contribute significantly to the growth of the Italian economy. For the Umbrian businesswoman, wine is the core business of a group that in addition to a high quality production of about 2.5 million bottles a year exported to 50 countries, is active in the areas of culture with the Wine Museum of Torgiano (Muvit) and the Museum of Olive and Oil (Moo) and wine tourism with the Farm Poggio alle Vigne (10 independent apartments and 2 houses with swimming pool, among the vineyards of Rubesco).
The event, which also focused on the national system of protection consortia, was attended by, among others, the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies, Teresa Bellanova; the President of the Agriculture Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Filippo Gallinella; the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Giuseppe L'Abbate; the manager of the Agri-food Office of Ice Agency, Anna Flavia Pascarelli.
The other awards were given to Barbara De Rigo, director of marketing house brand De Rigo Vision; Maura Latini, COOP Italia CEO; Rossella Liberti, co-founder of Picogrammo, Gruppo Liberti; Valentina Mercati, vice-president of Gruppo Aboca; Giannola Nonino, president of Nonino Distillatori; Alessia Zucchi, CEO of Oleificio Zucchi.
