Best wishes to all from DoctorWine

The editorial staff at DoctorWine, beginning with the editor-in-chief, wish you all the very best for holidays and for all of 2019.
Let us all celebrate these holidays with joy, among friends, drinking some fine wines and kicking up our heels for a few days. Let’s leave behind us a complicated year and not worry about economic woes or politics and perhaps even wish our leaders the very best. It’s Christmas, after all, and we all need to be good.
And let’s wish each other all the best. The editorial staff and I wish all our readers the best things possible for the holidays and for all of 2019.
For wine producers we wish for a “normal” harvest this coming year after a dry and hot 2017 and a 2018 that saw too much rain in some areas.
To the wine lovers who read us we hope they will continue to cultivate something that for them is more than just a simple hobby but something more serious. Sometimes it becomes too serious, as the excessive polemic here and there showed this past year.
But that’s okay, too. What is important is to not exaggerate and not to take sides as if we were football supporters because ours is a passion that needs to be experienced with intelligence. The world of wine deserves to be approached with calm and consideration. But I do not want to preach here.
So let the festivities begin and best wishes to all from all of us at DoctorWine.
