Vintage tastings (8): Foreign wines of the 1970s
This week we again look at the 1970s but travel beyond Italy’s borders to drink some Champagne, Moselle, Rioja, Bordeaux and Burgundy wines.
Here we will look at some authentic pearls of relatively recent European winemaking, incredible examples of how certain wines have an extraordinary capacity to age, all in the hope that no ‘external’ factors, like bad corks, spoil the party.
