Primo Monti Iblei Dop at the top of Frantoi Cutrera

The Extravirgin Olive Oil Primo Monti Iblei Dop by Frantoi Cutrera in an intense fruity of Tonda Iblea variety, an indigenous olive from eastern Sicily.

Frantoi Cutrera was founded in 1985 by Giovanni and his wife Maria. Today the farm is run by their children with their partners. There are 100 hectares of olive grove with 10,000 trees, two establishments and three extraction systems. In the last harvest 1,500 quintals of olives were produced and 1,500 purchased, with a yield of almost 328 hectolitres of oil. About 164 were also purchased, with a total of about 491 hectolitres.

There are three Extra Virgin, Cutrera - Nocellara del Belice and the two Primo, the one from Organic Farming and the Pdo Monti Iblei - Gulfi.
